Meet the Dutch Practice: Royal HaskoningDHV

Meet the Dutch Practice is an office visit series where students get a first hand experience of the Dutch urbanism and landscape architecture practice. The second visit is to the office of Royal HaskoningDHV in Amersfoort and one of their realised projects - an industrial area in Amersfoort transformed into a mixed residential neighbourhood.

Royal HaskoningDHV is an independent consulting engineering company that is dedicated to creating a positive impact on people and planet. Backed by the expertise of over 6,000 colleagues working from offices in more than 20 countries, we are helping clients with challenges ranging from climate change and digital transformation to changing customer demands and the energy transition.

For the office visit we will first visit the realised project De Hoef with one of the project leaders and take a tour. Then we will bike to the office southwards and get a peek into the office practices, design principles and projects.
